Here is the setlist from this past Sunday
Spring of Life - Kristian Stanfill
At the Cross - Daniel Renstrom - please check out Daniel's stuff
Amazed - Jared Anderson (Desperation Band)
How Great is Our God - Chris Tomlin
Doxology - Thomas Ken
It is an honor worshipping with our church each week. I pray it moves us to realizing who God is, how he loves us, and compells us to become who we were created to be.
peace and love,
-Jason

Really like the last two. Besides the words of the song, the variation on the doxology just sounds awesome, and there's lots of fun harmonies to play off of / into.
Well, ok, liked "At the Cross" too, just had forgotten what it was.
"At the cross, wrath was taken away -- Christ was in our place.
At the cross, justice was supplied -- by the blood of Christ."
Dude. That's it. I think until we really get that idea that what happened at the cross was justice, and it was the result of wrath (not just displeasure) and that THAT was due to MY sin (well, yours too) -- we just don't get it.
If I was quibbling, I'd note that later in the song it wasn't that my heart was made "awake" -- it was made ALIVE! I was dead. Not sleeping. =) But beggars can't be choosers, I suppose.
this reminded me of you.
I don't know if you've ever been, but I have some helpful worship and alternative worship resources at Sites Unseen.
This reminded me of Jason.
I have a tendency to read things that put others off. For example, I love reading Modern Reformation magazine, and am currently working through a summary of Reformation Theology, a book on Heaven, and a discussion of Covenant Theology.
But ... I looked at the link that Mike sent and gotta admit I feel waaaaaay outclassed. Sarah Coakley is one of the speakers. Her work is not something that makes an easy read. Wow.
where is jason?
